For October the whole school are learning all about shapes. Today’s Maths Week challenge is to go on a shape hunt around your house. Can you find a circle, square, a triangle, a rectangle, an oval or even a semi-circle. Explain to a grown-up at home how you know which shape it is.
If you’d like an extra challenge, you can look for 3-D shapes. Can you find a sphere, cylinder, cube, cuboid or cone? Don’t forget to let your teacher know about what examples of 3-D shapes you find in your home.
