Non-Violent Resistance programme D15
Are you experiencing conflict, aggression or violence from your child or teenager? Are you “walking on eggshells”?
Many parents are telling us that their home life is very stressful with constant rows, damaged property, abusive language or even physical injury – and that this aggression comes from their child. We understand that it can be difficult for parents to talk about these experiences of child to parent violence and aggression. If you are experiencing this in your family, we can help. Many services in North Dublin are working successfully with parents, using the Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) programme. This programme, also known as "New Authority Parenting", is designed to bring the violence and aggression to an end and to build a better and stronger relationship between you and your child.
The NVR Programme is run in groups in Dublin 15, Coolock and Balbriggan. The course runs for 7 weeks, with weekly 2 hour sessions and is free of charge.
One to one courses can also be arranged.
