The children from room 9 got to enjoy their very first school Play-Sports Day and what a wonderful day it was. We were so lucky with the weather and had the happiest, sunny day as we got to try out so many different activities throughout the school grounds. The definite highlights were the bouncy castle, GAA with Frank from St. Peregrines and the water walk while we literally fell about laughing when we did the three-legged race!
There was a bittersweet end to the day as the whole school community came together to wish our fabulous Ms. O'Sullivan well before her retirement next week. Unfortunately the equally fabulous Mrs. Maye snook off before we could wish her well and embarrass her a little bit.
A massive thank you to Ms. Igoe and all the school staff for organising such a special day for everyone in St. Philip's school.
