Student Council

Student council:

The Student council is made up of two student representatives (a boy and a girl) from each First and Second Class. The group meets every couple of weeks to talk about school life, share ideas, and discuss any suggestions or concerns from their classmates. 😊

Even in a junior school, children have valuable ideas, opinions, and perspectives. A Student Council provides a safe and age-appropriate way for pupils to express their views, feel listened to, and learn that their voice matters. ✅

Through regular meetings, children develop confidence, communication skills, and a sense of responsibility, while learning to listen to others and work together. Having a Student Council also helps pupils understand fairness, respect, and active participation within the school community. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾

By encouraging student voice from an early age, we support children in becoming confident, caring, and engaged members of their school—and, in time, of wider society. 🏆🏅
