Return to School after Easter holidays

26th Mar 2021

School will reopen on Monday, 12th of April.

In preparation we would ask you to please note the following points

  1. Children can arrive to school from 8.50-9.10am
  2. Please remind your child about handwashing and respiratory hygiene to encourage good habits
  3. A Return to School Declaration will have to be filled out on Aladdin for every child before coming to class. This will be available on Sunday but here is the form to print if required https://www.hpsc.ie/a-z/respiratory/coronavirus/novelcoronavirus/guidance/educationguidance/Return%20to%20Educational%20Facility%20declaration%20form.pdf
  4. If your child has returned from abroad you must follow the most recent Government guidelines which are available here
  5. All adults must wear a face covering on school grounds and are asked to be respectful and patient of others at all times
  6. It is essential that parents do not gather together around the school gates before or after school
  7. In the coming weeks, please do not send your child to school if they have any of the potential COVID 19 symptoms below
  • a fever (high temperature-38 degrees celsius or above)
  • a new cough - this can be any kind of cough, not just dry
  • shortness of breath or breathing difficulties
  • loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

If you have any of the symptoms above, self isolate (stay at home) and call your doctor immediately to see if you need a COVID 19 test. People in your household will have to restrict their movements and stay at home.
